2008 was an interesting year for us. From the Wall Street drama to the economic crisis to Barack Obama! But this year is beginning to be even more interesting. Why? Because there is a treat in store for all of the members of Zephorah Magazine. While most of you are still staying committed to your New Years resolution, we are staying committed to delivering you with the best stories, news, information and glossy images!

This first issue of Zephorah Magazine is one that I am very excited about because of all the connections involved. I love these connections because these three artists support one another. First, I met the actress, Esosa Edosomwan, who then introduced me to shoe designer, John Ashford and fashion designer, Zulema Griffin. I’ve done photo shoots with the very ambitious Esosa and wound up working very close with these extremely talented designers. From photo shoots here in New York, to working side by side with them at Virgin Islands Fashion Week! You will get a chance to read about these three individuals!

At the end of this issue, watch what we have in store for you in our next issue to be released in May. You will be pleasantly surprised so stay tuned!
