The infamous "Windy Waters" by The John Ashford Collection

This morning, dozens of people in their undies lined up around the corner to get into Desigual on 594 Broadway in New York City. Why? Because they are having a promotion that the first 100 people to line up in their underwear before the store opens gets free clothes! A participant told me that he's been out there since 3 this morning! If only I had nothing else to do... I mean they do have really cute clothes...(just kidding;-)
From what I hear the promotion will be running again next Tuesday at another Desigual location on 34th St. in New York City.

On a recent trip to Miami, I had the chance to visit a town called Little Haiti. I am told that it looks just like the actual Haiti, with the beautiful architectural buildings and people. I became a photographer that day, so I hope my shooting wasn't too bad:-)

I still remember it like it was yesterday... It was a bitterly cold day.
A day that I will be proud to tell my grandchildren about...
Washington D.C.
I saw Chris Rock’s documentary, Good Hair, this weekend and loved it. It is hilarious, yet informative. Chris Rock did a wonderful job peeking into the different ideologies of how black women perceive natural or relaxed hair. He’s talks to different women to get their views. Celebrities such as Raven Symone, Meghan Good, Lauren London, Vanessa Bell Calloway and many more contributed. He also interviewed chemists and other people who are involved in manufacturing relaxers on a daily basis. He gets down to the nitty gritty and gives facts on the dangers of relaxers.
