A Town Called Little Haiti

On a recent trip to Miami, I had the chance to visit a town called Little Haiti. I am told that it looks just like the actual Haiti, with the beautiful architectural buildings and people. I became a photographer that day, so I hope my shooting wasn't too bad:-)

Of course you can't visit a cultural town like this without visiting their shops!

The first stop was a dress shop and I met the workers. I shot this mannequin because I've never seen one with dreads before. I thought that was so cool.

There were some people lined up in front of a church rehearsing for a wedding. I peeked inside and everything was in French! Even the Bible was French. I wish I would've gotten a picture. What I appreciate most about this wedding is that it was an "old school" wedding. Nothing real fancy. The groom and bride dressed in a house and then headed over to the church. A true vintage style wedding!

And of course there's a lot more to this small town. Great food, great people and great fun!
